Jennifer Waldron was born and raised in Southern Maryland and began playing the violin at age 7. She moved to New Orleans in 2013 to study Music Therapy and Psychology at Loyola University. She currently studies violin under professor Amy Thaiville at Loyola University. Jennifer has been a part of NOVO for three consecutive years so far and this year (2016-2017) will be her second year as concertmaster with the orchestra. Along with participating in NOVO, she has played in several concert series at Loyola, several featuring world class violinists including Nadja Solerno-Sonennberg and Mark O'Connor. Playing violin in an orchestra setting will remain one of her most passionate hobbies after graduating.
