SONO/VONO Presents: Hark!

It's the most wonderful time of the year again! The Symphony Of New Orleans will be joining forces with The Voices Of New Orleans choir in our first combined performance in our new home Tuesday, December 12th, for a spectacle of holiday showstoppers including Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride & Christmas Festival Overture, Bizet’s Farandole, Mvt. 1 of Sibelius’s Karelia Suite, Waltz of the Flowers from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Vaughan-Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols, Craig Courtney’s A Musicological Journey through The Twelve Days of Christmas, and a pair of classic carols: Hark, the Herald Angels Sing and O Come All Ye Faithful (including the infamous Willcocks reharmonization) that we hope you, our audience will sing along to!
